A short weekend trip to Iceland, during which I got to photograph and experience some incredible natural wonders. There's two subalbums - part 1 contains pics form the city and Blue lagoon and the photos are taken with a small camera, while part 2 contains pics from the Golden Circle tour and are taken with the D700 (hence should be better quality).

Part 2 - Golden Circle tour
1/17/12Photos taken with a tad better camera during our Golden Circle tour, that included stops at the waterfall Gullfoss (meaning "golden falls"), the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur, which contains the geysers Geysir and Strokkur, plus Kerið volcano crater. There's probably too many photos of a kind sometimes, but I have a hard time sorting them since I loved every one of them
